FORMAT:  The Oyster Tourney is a great opportunity to have a fun-filled day of soccer and festivities.  All teams are Co-Ed with a minimum of 2 female players on the field during play.  Divisions are based upon level of skill and competitiveness.  This event has something for every level of player, even beginners. Teams are guaranteed 3 games of soccer and The After-Party is FREE to all tournament participants.  This tourney is unique in it's emphasis on postive attitudes and sportsmanship.  Each team provides a "referee" for 1 to 2 games during the tournament.  The "ref" is responsible for keeping the score, timing the game and making very basic calls to keep players safe.  The expectation is for the players to conduct themselves with honesty and integrity by self-calling the majority of the game.  At the end of every game, Teams vote on 1 or 2 players from the opposing team with the best attitude and put them in the running for the prestigious "Pearl" Award.  Team lunch is provided and music plays throughout the day.


You won't want to miss out on this year's Oyster Roast After-Party! Bluegrass music and Local Beer to top off a great day!

The Party is INCLUDED for all tournament participants.  And will be held at Waterline Brewery 721 Surry St. Wilmington, NC 28401 from 6-10 pm.

Invite friends and family to join the festivities!  Tickets to the after-party include a bucket of Oysters, and 2 beers for only $25!

We encourage everyone to pre-purchase tickets, so that we have enough for all.

Cape Fear Area Doulas, partnered with NC Chapter of the National Association of Certified Professional Midwives, is holding the 9th Annual Oyster Tourney December 1st, 2018.  This is a Co-ed Adult Soccer Tournament that has over 200 participants and we are looking forward to another fun, successful event this year.  This event depends on the generous donations and sponsorships from local businesses.  We provide food and drinks to the participants and volunteers, so there are lots of great ways to sponsor!  Sponsorship options are below:
